Hi. My name is Bobbie Troughton. I’ve been an amateur photographer since high school (which was the 70’s). Back in “those days” there was no such thing as a digital camera. Now I find myself using mainly my Nikon DSLR and neglecting my film camera that served me well for so many years. I still have a love and respect for film and the “art” of darkroom development though I haven’t been in a darkroom in ages.
I don’t consider myself a professional photographer though I have been hired in the past to do a few projects. I do consider it a hobby I greatly enjoy and one I would like to perfect to the point of becoming a professional someday.
I have limited knowledge in this field so I am open to any tips or advice one wishes to offer.
I live in Northern California where much beauty (both people and places) abounds. It is my hope and dream to capture that beauty from “behind the lens” and share the pleasure of those photos with you, the viewers.
